While serving as a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Eaton Corp., ROAR founder Ken Wood conceived and executed product marketing campaigns for a $130 million strategic power management business unit for global sales partners to capture key uninterruptible power system (UPS) opportunities. He managed a technical marketing organization that included the activities of two application engineers. Ken also developed and demonstrated rapid proficiency in project management, product forecasting, and factory loading.

Key accomplishments:

  • Ken and his team won a rack-mount uninterruptible power system (UPS) purchase contract worth $7 million in incremental revenue at 45% gross margin at a Fortune 100 customer by successfully resolving all customer technical concerns/issues.
  • Ken earned the Eaton “President’s Award” in recognition for his technical contributions to a UPS product development effort that generated $2 million in incremental revenue at 45% gross margin in a four-month timeframe.
