What Our Clients Have To Say
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Ken was a valued member of my marketing and sales team who made significant contributions and provided much-needed guidance on industry and customer trends, internal business strategy and sales enablement. Through his strong relationship building skills, Ken established a strong rapport with Eaton’s sales force and helped them to successfully communicate Eaton’s value proposition to new and existing customers. Through Ken’s efforts, specifically his ability to take complex technical details and develop a value proposition to meet our customer needs, our business unit was able to increase sales of uninterruptible power systems (UPS) by over 40 percent over a 3 year period.
Ken is a detail oriented sales professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a solid record of success. During his tenure at International Rectifier, Ken developed deep relationships with large OEMs resulting in more than $50 million in incremental revenue within a 3-year period.
During the time I worked for Ken he was a very supportive manager. He focused on strategic objectives, but he also kept up with the day-to-day tactical aspects of running a sales region. His affable personality helped greatly during the downturn in the semiconductor industry in the early 2000's. He kept morale high and concentrated on tackling the tasks with the highest return on investment.
Digital Switching Systems
Ken managed the Digital Switching Systems business unit at DNA, and we worked closely on corporate initiatives as well as collaborated on many common issues within our unique units. Ken is a great person to discuss big picture ideas and concepts with. I found his insight and experience very helpful in solving problems and creating strategies for managing change and promoting our products and services.
Ken's market knowledge, leadership and guidance was extremely helpful in identifying and qualifying potential customers for the Paladin SmartGrid microgrid “master controller” technology. Ken and ROAR Marketing Concepts would be a valuable asset to any client organization that requires a results-oriented professional who stands behind the client’s direct and indirect teams and provides them with the necessary knowledge and tools to be successful.
Ken delivered excellent coordinating services while we were exploring, defining, and intensely negotiating a Dodd-Frank early adopter solution with SAS. He was professional, courteous and patient through the many document revisions...I enjoyed working with him!
Smart Wires, Inc.
It was great to work with Ken Wood at ROAR Marketing Concepts. ROAR leveraged their in-depth knowledge of Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) devices to perform a comprehensive competitive benchmarking analysis for Smart Wires as part of its new product design and development activities. The analysis required significant effort in terms of industry research and data interpretation. As a result, ROAR was able to provide our team with valuable information that helped shape our core marketing strategy. Thanks for your efforts!!
